Nancy Edwards – Founder/Managing Partner
Nancy Edwards, founder and managing partner of Clean Power Marketing Group, likes nothing better than a giant-sized marketing challenge. She built a career in entertainment and technology marketing working for such brands as IBM, Applied Materials and Frank Zappa before moving into clean energy in 2010. She formed CPMG to partner with clean energy clients who are ready to take on the challenge of creating a new energy economy. She combines passion, creativity and strategic know-how to approach every client’s business challenge. Prior to CPMG, Nancy led marketing for microinverter maker SolarBridge Technologies, where she established the brand and helped create a new category for AC solar modules, leading to the successful acquisition of SolarBridge by SunPower in 2014. Nancy has a Master’s degree in Communications Management from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Kansas. She earned a Professional Certificate in Sustainability Strategy from Arizona State University’s School of Sustainability and the W. P. Carey School of Business in 2021.
David Walker – Creative Director
David Walker is a Creative Director and artist with more than 20 years of experience. David brings his vast creative talent to video, print, outdoor and online projects. He’s been honored with prestigious Clio, MM&M, New York ACE, the Telly awards and local and national ADDY awards. His work has also been featured in Archive and Print magazines. He is also a published author of a children’s book and a novel.
David has worked on CPMG clients including SunPower and Smart Power Maps. David’s experience prior to CPMG includes 10 years in healthcare and medical technology serving such clients as Scott and White Healthcare, Texas Oncology, Menninger, Texas Children’s Hospital, Medtronic, Carbomedics, HealthTronics, The American Red Cross and Johns Hopkins Medical Center.
His consumer and business to business clients have included Chili’s Restaurants, United States Air Force, United States Olympics, Wal-Mart, AT&T, Harrah’s Casinos, 3M, Weyerhaeuser, The National Museum of the Pacific War, and The New York Post just to name a few.
David has a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art.
Phillip Bergman – Senior PR Consultant
Phillip Bergman specializes in helping clients bolster awareness, expand business opportunities and manage sensitive issues through honest, concise communication. A seasoned writer and strategist, Phillip develops and implements effective media relations programs and manages complex issues for public and private sector organizations. He works with both B2B and B2C clients at CPMG. Phillip’s work has included project announcements for clean energy developers as well as site selection, stakeholder relations and community outreach for manufacturers.
